The fruit apple consists of antioxidants that help in cell building and improves the texture of the skin. Beetroot has an anti-inflammatory substance and also helps in reducing ageing signs. Whereas, carrots consist of beta carotene that protects the skin against UV rays. Overall, ABC juice helps detoxify and purifies your blood, giving you fresh, supple, and glowing skin. 

 

When and how much to drink?

It is recommended to drink this juice once daily. You can take it in the morning or in the evening, preferably on an empty stomach. It is also important to note that according to American Academy of Dermatologists, it takes up to 12 weeks to see a noticeable difference in your skin through any dietary changes.  Therefore, be consistent.

Ingredients: 

  • 10 mandarines

  • 5 Oranges 

  • 1 Grapefruit

  • ½ Lemon

  • ½ Lime

  1. Rinse and peel all fruits. Juice them using a blender and squeeze lemon and lime. 

  2. Add agave syrup as per your taste.

When and how much to drink?

Orange juice with a dash of lemon can be your first thing in the morning before breakfast. The recommended amount is 240ml of orange juice and 2 lemons per day. 

  1. Neem Juice

Neem herb is an excellent source of many medicinal treatments. It has unlimited benefits for your hair, skin and body. It specializes in fighting acne-causing bacteria. Its antibacterial properties help you in getting rid of your ages-old acne and scars. Neem leaves also help in soothing irritated skin and repairing tissues. It has a cooling effect on your skin.

However, It is not the best idea to drink juice with only neem leaves in it. Combining it with other ingredients like lemon may make it less bitter. Before you begin, make sure the leaves are fresh and washed properly. Blend two to five neem leaves with water. Boiling the leaves before blending may help in reducing the bitterness. Add honey or lemon in small quantities.

Drinking 2 to 4 teaspoons of neem juice on an empty stomach is more than enough per day. Too much consumption for an extended period is not recommended.

On the other hand, pineapples consist of an alpha-hydroxy acid which delays the death of cells preventing ageing hence, making your skin look juvenile.   1. Take a fully ripe pineapple

  2. Peel the skin slightly deep

Drinking 240ml of peach juice per day is fine. However, you should not drink pineapple juice of more than 150 ml because of the high amount of fructose found in it. 

 

   5. Cucumber and Aloe Vera Juice

Cucumbers and aloe vera gel are common ingredients for skincare remedies. Besides putting cucumber slices on your eyes, drinking cucumber and aloe vera juice can help provide plenty of benefits to your skin. Cucumbers have a cooling effect which helps in reducing inflammation and provides skin nourishment. 

However, aloe vera can help keep acne at bay. Lack of hydration can cause acne because when your body is dehydrated it gives rise to sebum production which results in breakouts. Drinking aloe vera means staying hydrated and hydrated skin is soft, radiant and moist. 

  • Cucumber Cocoa Aloe Cleanser

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup of coconut water

  • ? cup of filtered water

  • 1 oz of aloe tonic liquid aloe vera

  • 2 tbsp of lime juice

  • 4 inches of peeled sliced cucumber

  • 4 tsp of cane sugar

  • 8 whole mint leaves

  • 2 ice cubes

Method:

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until liquified

  2. Pour into a glass with a lemon wedge or mint leaf.

Start by consuming a small amount of aloe and cucumber juice every day in the morning. Drinking these juices every other day or third day is recommended.
