AN ALLURING ENIGMA THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY SEASON 3 REVIEW

The oh-so-popular show “The Umbrella Academy Season 3” was released on June 22, 2022, but aired on Netflix on November 10, 2020. The show has gained value and excitement after season 2.

Teenagers are going crazy over the new season and are desperately waiting for season 4. Furthermore, it is heard that this (season 4) will be the final season of the show, a sad statement for so many fans.

CAST:

  • VICTOR HARGREEVES-ELLIOT PAGE:

The main star of the show, Victor Hargreeves/ Seven/ White violin is played by Elliot Page. He came out as a transgender so he’s one of the hot topics this season.

  • LUTHER HARGREEVES-TOM HOPPER:

Tom Hopper plays Luther Hargreeves/ One/ SpaceBoy. He played Dickon Tarly in Game Of Thrones. Yes, you heard me, THE Game Of Thrones, so he’s not a new face but this show has brought out a new side of him (Ape side).

  • DIEGO HARGREEVES-DAVID CASTANEDA:

Also named Two, Castaneda plays a character who has daddy issues. Many fans relate to him so he stays highlighted by the audience.

  • ALLISON-EMMY RAVER-LAPMAN:

The Rumor, Three and the psychic celebrity Allison is played by Raver—a known face and voice of the industry. She also played Mr. Krab's daughter Pearl in Spongebob Squarepants.

STORYLINE:

The storyline of the third season is about the Hargreeves siblings going back to 2019. They realised that their past actions may have caused some consequences. They see themselves being replaced by a new Hargreeves superhero, adopted by Reginald Hargreeves, their father. Steve Blackman gets really creative this season. No spoilers but this is what everyone calls a binge-watching season.

POSITIVE PARTS:

A fan of Rotten Tomatoes said and I quote “Fear not, though: for all the brilliant, emotional depth that season three harvests, this is still the strangest superhero show on streaming.” Well, strangest in a good way.

This show has a very big fan base which seems to have increased after season 3.

NEGATIVE PARTS:

The negative or bad part can be that this season is not at all kid-friendly. It has a lot of nudity and above 18 visuals which should be considered by parents before they let their kids watch it.

There are many violent scenes which can be really triggering to watch for some people. Additionally, alcohol, smoking and drug use are also seen in a few episodes by some characters.
