Does Narcos: Mexico Live Up to the Original Series?

Have you watched the original Narcos series? Or need to watch before starting the “Narcos: Mexico”? Let me tell you the link of Narcos: mexico on Netflix with the original series “Narcos”. Many people thought that this will be the next season of the original series but it comes on the screens with a new cast but the same theme of a drug war in a new place.

Storyline

Nacros Mexico is an American crime drama. It is a TV show, which is produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro, and premiered on Netflix on November 16, 2018. The story originates from the past when the origin of Mexican drug war happen, it was the beginning of a small independent drug mafia. 

The show dramatized the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) and introduced the drug power. Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) is posted as a drug enforcement agent from California to Guadalajara. As he take charge he faced a lot of hurdles in handling the case. Finally, he tracks down the path and punishes Gallardo.

Cinematograph

It was thought that it would be the fourth season of the Netflix series Narcos, but it introduces as a companion show. It focuses on Mexico’s illegal drug trade, while Narcos shows Colombia’s illegal drug trade. The Narcos shoe the glamorous drug cartel lifestyle, while ‘Mexico’ emphasizes the natural beauty of Mexico's landscape, beaches, and greenery.

Success rate

Narcos: Mexico is a spin-off series of Narcos. But the audience liked this show very much. The Narcos: Mexico review shows a rating of 8.4 out of 10 on Netflix.

 The good parts

 The good part is that if you are a lover of action, danger, and drama then it’s totally for you. It shows power struggles, violent warfare, relationship problems, and subtle politics. It also describes the financial reasons behind the Felix’s decision. This series shows how drugs affect and ruin the life of people. It depicts that the drug war never ends. The violence and corruption in society lead to a thousand homicides.

The bad parts

The bad parts is that it cannot be shown to children’s because of violent content in the show.

Conclusion 

As Narcos: Mexico enlists a whole new cast. Shoots of the show were done at different areas. This didn’t make it the whole new series. It still goes back to the Narcos theme and is a great recommendation for previous fans.
