Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder is an old saying but these days all from Pom and glam you need some basic tips to trick the fam cam out there. If someone says that they woke up with this flawless skin and glossy lips, they are lying. No one is born with this ethereal beauty and perfection. In this Fomo and reel world one needs to keep oneself updated and motivated through minimal makeup skills. For a minimal look I am about to list down a few essentials that,if used religiously, can lead to a flawless look!

MAKE SUNBLOCK YOUR BEST BUDDY:

I have seen so many people complain about blemishes and pigmentation on their faces. The real cause behind it is not using sunscreen. There are so many available in the market, do your research and find the right one for you. According to many dermatologists one with broad spectrum and spf 30 should be used. Apply it on your moisturised skin with the finger sized quantity and don’t forget your neck area. After creating a sun barrier now move to the second step which is essential for skin prep and that is priming your skin.

PREP THE CANVAS USING PRIMER:

Now here comes the next step which is basically prep your skin for the further adherence of the makeup that is primer. Primer is another essential tool for better coverage. It fills the pores and smoother your skin flawlessly. So one should never forget to apply it. After priming, move to the next step which is concealer.

CONCEALER OR CORRECTOR :

As the name suggests the concealer conceals. It hides your unusual marks and the blemishes. The application of concealer along with primer further set the ground for the smooth application of the foundation. Now the question is which is the better option to go for. Either concealer or corrector. Both have different functionalities as well. If you have patchy and discoloured skin apply correctors which are in different colours and mostly in cream texture like green, orange etc. And if you have little discoloration on your skin and under your eyes area then you better need to opt for concealer which are available in both creamy texture and in powder form. 

FOUNDATION BUT NOT THE CREASY ONE :

Here comes another important layer to add that is foundation. One should be careful while choosing it. It should be according to your skin tone. To choose the correct foundation you should always perform a patch test on your cheeks. Wait for a while because some of the foundations oxidise and set with time. The tone of the foundation should be according to your skin tone.

BLUSH PLUSH OR TINT:

For the natural glowy cheeks, use a pea size tint or blush on both cheeks and a drop on the nose tip. I am a big fan of tint as it gives you a more natural look than the blush. Same tint you can apply on the lips to give a pulpy look. 

MAGIC WAND OF MASCARA :

Using mascara will uplift your whole look. Apply a small amount on both upper and lower lids. This will instantly give you an awake and refreshed look. 

LIPSTICK :

Last but not the least lipstick completes the look!. Lipstick defines your entire personality sometimes so choose the colour wisely. I would always choose nude and lighter shades in routine matter and would go for brighter shades in some formal events.
