HOW TO GET CONNECTED WITH ALLAH S.W.T IN TODAYS MODERN TIME

HERE IS HOW TO GET CONNECTED WITH ALLAH S.W.T:

?: This article is about my perception and observation. I am not in any terms intended to hurt anybodys religious sentiments. I am not a religious scholar, just a learning Muslim suggesting things that might help.

Before moving forward, I like to give you all a brief context of my article.

We all are breathing in the era of distributive ideologies regarding Islam. No doubt, people of today are more informed than the older generation. But, it is sad to acknowledge that most of the information misleads us, especially the youth of our society.

Because of the sectarian policy of our Ulemas, the people are in confusion and helpless. But those who studied the Quran thoroughly are confident about their knowledge and actions. Our country Pakistan has been led by the conflicts between Sunni and Shia and within the sects themselves.

And the whole situation never lets the pleb of our state practice wholesome Islam, which is the combination of only five pillars to hold. The majority of our nation follows these Arkan but not every individual, which is sad. And here comes this article which might be helpful for you guys out there!

7-THINGS TO ADD TO YOUR ROUTINE TO STAY CONNECTED TO ALLAH:

In the era of 2022, where our lives are dependent on technology and media, our focus on spirituality is gone. The connection between Allah s.w.t and us is indigenously missing. What to do to get in contact with Allah? How can I spare time for it? How to recite the Quran and pray five times?

Here are seven things you can do to gain interest in Islam and eventually become practicing. I have chosen the easiest ways of building a connection with ALLAH with day-to-day distractions.

Allah says in Surah Ad-Duhaa in verse 7:
And He found you lost and guided [you].

1. Listening to the recitation of the Quran with translation:

On Reading this title, a question will pop into your mind: how come it is possible? How can only listening to the translation help me stay connected with ALLAH? Our brain is mechanized like this, and if you keep on listening to the same things, it will eventually draw your actions. It depends on you what you choose to feed your brain. And when the meaning of the verses of the Quran touches your mind, it enables you to think. Hence you will start acting on what is repeatedly addressing your brain.

2. Downloading the Islamic app:

The popularity of smartphone applications among our youth is gigantic. So, the use of smartphones and Islamic applications is sufficient. Many Islamic applications are there on the Google play store, but Islam 360 is amazingly helpful. There are daily notifications such as ayah of the day and Hadith. Thus this will help us get reminded of our duties and build our connection to ALLAH.

3. Read the Urdu translation of the Quran:

The simplest thing you can do in your daily life schedule is to read the Urdu translation of the Quran. Our conversational language is Urdu, so it is easy for us to learn the meaning of the Quran. So as you are pleasantly reading novels, do make it mandatory to read one page or at least a Ruku of the Quran in Urdu with its brief Tafseer. It will help you stay connected with Allah.

4. Practicing Salah:

Performing Salah is essential. You cannot skip it as it is one of the pillars of Islam. Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W said the difference between a Momin and Kafir is Salah. What else do you need to hear for practicing salah daily? And to make it convenient, start practicing Fard Salah only. Because the fard in Salah is mandatory, there is no sin in leaving the Sunnah. In support of my stance, there is a reference to sahih hadith (Sahih Bukhari: 1397).

It took an hour to pray Faraed (?????) in Salah, yet we will not put effort. Be punctual for that, train your brain to go straight to the washroom, and perform ablution (??? ) as soon as you listen to Adhan(????). Five times of Adhan (????) is a natural reminder for you to remember Allah and the prostate.

5. Develop the habit of doing Istighfar:

First of all, you need to understand the context of Istighfar. Doing Istighfar means asking for his forgiveness, and habitually doing Istighfar will help you stay in connection with Allah. Fear is a strong emotion. In general, it leads you to stay away from the factors causing it. The same rule applies to our daily life. If you fear Allah, you will remember him through Istighfar and will not forget doing it. Hence you are staying away from the factors that will cause the anger of Allah, which means you are in constant remembrance of Allah.

6. Develop the habit of reciting Dua for daily life chores:

We always have heard that Islam is a Code of Conduct for Life. It means Allah; through his messenger, Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W handed us a curriculum of life. The Basics of that consist of Duas.

From waking up in the morning to sleeping in the night, from departure to arrival, eating to drinking, in pain and anger to meeting someone, you have to protocol everything in life with a Dua. And developing a habit of it will always be regarded as a remembrance of Allah s.w.t.

The most important thing to consider is that if you memorize their meanings, it will get more effective, and you will feel a developing bond with ALLAH.

7. Attending Quranic Sessions:

The company you carry indeed has a strong influence on your personality and mindset. To remain in touch with Allah s.w.t and the teachings of Islam, make sure to attend the Quran sessions near you. If your busy schedule does not allow you to study the Quran yourself, do take admission in sessions arranged by the Tutors or Scholars of the Quran o Hadith. Taking a break from your monotonous lifestyle is essential for you to have room for religious practices. Investing your precious time in remembrance of Allah will be rewarded by Jannah in the hereafter. What else do we need more than that?

By concluding my tips/ways for building a connection with ALLAH s.w.t, I wanted to request you all to keep it simple and sane. Islam is beautiful and comforting.

Stop criticizing the ways of Islam and get educated about your religion. Be a bookish and the practicing Muslim rather than a sectarian Muslim. Follow the paths Allah has designed, and His Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W followed. And select your favorite ways of remembering Allah. It could be either learning the Quranic translation or studying the life of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
