Shopping is fun until you realize you have squeezed every last penny of yours. We easily get lured to try this and that new product out there. And we easily fall into this trap whenever we visit any store or shopping mall or scroll on the phone.  But is there any way out? Yes, there is! Well, being a Saveaholic , I have always tried to follow a few ways  whenever I shop and it has turned out to be beneficial for me. 

Five ways that help me save money when I shop 

Here are the five ways that help me to save money when I am out shopping. 

Asking myself a few questions

While scrolling on the phone,with an intention to shop, if I zoom into a beautiful dress or an elegant piece of jewelry, I ask myself a few questions first . Can I get it for free ? Can I wait for the upcoming sale? Can I borrow it from my best friend? Can I get discounts on it somewhere else ? These questions really help me make wise decisions and save me from extravagant shopping.

Thinking - Do I wish for it or need it?

Well, while shopping, our wish list also pops up in front of us. But before picking anything, I do ask myself whether I actually need that particular thing in my closet or rack, or not? This helps a lot in identifying the things I should buy because I need them, and bottle up my unnecessary wishes. 

Sticking to my shopping list

While doing groceries or buying any other thing, I make sure that I stick to my shopping  list and come out of the store as early as possible (the race that I never want to win, actually, lol). That helps me alot to get the things I need and save money. It helps me to stick to the aisles I need, rather than randomly picking up things as I roam around.

Shopping during discounts or sales 

We all know that many discounts and sales are offered on different items, on multiple events and occasions. Therefore, I try my best to get the things on discounts or sale. It really works. 

Shopping such articles that can be used multiple times

We know that splurging on the latest fashion and beauty items can get expensive! But we can still look fabulous and trendy by following simple hacks in less money.  I make sure to buy the things like clothes, shoes, bags and makeup that are actually perfect to go on multiple occasions and make a good combo with different other articles. That not only helps me in trying different looks but also saves my money. Does not it sound fun?  

Summing it all 

Shopping is not only fun, it is an art also. By following a few smart ways, you can enjoy shopping along with saving money. And you can also give yourself a treat at the end by shopping for your most favorite article that you could not have been able to buy without saving money. That will encourage you to save more, making the whole experience great.  .
