Judas and the black messiah review

JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH REVIEW:

Haven’t heard anything about the movie? Are you curious about history? Wants to know how corrupt this government is? How does this system works? Then keep reading.

·       REVIEW OF THE MOVIE:

It’s a great movie that’s well written, with great actors, and directors who made sure to not compromise on showing the real story. Hats off to the writer SHAKA KING and the main lead DANIEL KALUUYA. After seeing his work, all you will say is what a performance. In this movie, there’s a scene where he’s giving a speech and his confidence in that scene is everything we need in our life.

While watching this movie, you’ll be involved because whenever there’s a scene of someone beaten miserably or dying, you’ll feel pain because the sound used during these scenes literally works and the performance by the actors bought the character to life. This movie revolves around; justice, and equality. Kaluuya makes you believe if you want something and work hard, you’ll get it.  The movie, JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH is based on true events and highlights the ongoing situation for equality in America. Again I’m telling you, it’s a must-watch movie for those interested in social justice and civil rights.

The movie cinematographer worked hard to capture the entire scene including what it felt like at that time. I am trying not to give spoilers because what if you are thinking to watch it and no one wants spoilers, Right? So I guess you should go and watch it yourself but wait firstly let’s get to know a little about the climax. Ok?

  •           CLIMAX:

The climax is very terrible. Imagine you are sleeping in your home, some people rush and start firing and killing people. Devastating, right? That’s exactly what happened with Hampton and other Black Panther members while they were sleeping in Hampton’s apartment.

  •         LESSON THIS MOVIE TEACHES:

 Importance of leadership:

The leadership of Fred Hampton and his way of uniting people towards a goal is all that we need in our society for change.

      The ongoing struggle for equality:

This film highlights the racism that black people are facing from the past to till today too. It’s a reminder to fight for justice and equality.

  •       SUCCESS RATE:

This movie made almost $7 million worldwide. This movie got nominated for many awards including best supporting actor, song (FIGHT FOR YOU), and picture. Kaluuya won awards for his best performance in the movie, like BEFTA Awards and Golden Globes.

  •      OPINION:

If you are someone like me who doesn’t like watching the historical movie then don’t go for it, you’ll be bored and it might affect your mood too. But trust me it’s worth watching for those who love to watch movies, because this movie is going to provoke your thoughts, how your closer ones can betray you, and how to be confident while doing anything for yourself or others.

·       CONCLUSION:

This movie is surely a hit. Some people don’t like this movie and everyone has an opinion but a majority of the audience liked it. The Rating was 4.5 out of 5.
