Life is like a Ludo game where every person tries their best to achieve their goal. But in fact, they never know about their next move. Fate decides their future and whatever happens in life. Much like the Ludo game, the great director of the Bollywood industry Anurag Basu introduced a dark action comedy movie ‘ludo’ in 2020. This movie is about four crazy stories which are intertwined through fate, money, love, a sex tape, and a death-defying gangster.

Plot Of Movie:

Ludo is a very appreciable movie because of its fantastic story and great plot structure.  This movie doesn’t consist of only one plot, it has many plots which are beautifully organized. The major part of this movie is shot at Chanivali Studios in Mumbai while some portions are also shot in Dadsaheb Phalke Chitranagri in Mumbai.

This story is about the life of four unknown people who crash with each other with a small connection. Aditya (as Akash) finds a private video with his ex-girlfriend Sanya Malhotra (as Shruti) on the internet, who is going to married in the next few days. Abishek (as Bittu) is released from jail after six years and finds his wife has married his friend and his daughter doesn’t recognize him. Also, he finds a small girl Inayat (as Mini) who plans her kidnapping. 

Kumar (as Kabir) runs a restaurant and his weakness is his crush Sana (as Pinky) who married someone else. He finds her at his restaurant asking for help to free her husband who is arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. A tragedy takes place and all the individuals get connected to a criminal named Sattu. The first 15 minutes will surely confuse you but don’t judge the movie by this beginning. You will surely feel amazed by watching romance, thrills, comedy, twists and turns.

Cinematography:

• · Aunraj Basu is incredible at filmmaking and he is also very good at storytelling by including beautifully organized pictures, and graphs with great color combinations.

• · In this film, you will see the characters introduced with a color game in the background. An abnormal criminal is the dice holder.

• · The choice of locations for shooting was a creative idea. Although, the selection of music, and art also looks very relatable to the content of the movie.

• · Also, the comic timing is appreciable. It makes you laugh, angry, sad, crazy and it is like a puzzle, but I surely say it doesn’t make you feel bored.

• · Overall, the great choice of art, music, characters, and everything combined makes a true masterpiece of cinematography.

Climax Of Movie:

The climax of this movie is very horrifying and surprising. It involves the death of many cops, and several characters, including Bittu who is the winner of the game because he reached the home before the rest of the characters. Besides, he didn’t get a happy ending like others.

This movie also has an element of imaginative fantasy, which makes Ludo a uniquely colour-coded anthology, a pleasing, breezy watch. This is a word that was inspired by the game of Ludo.

Bad Things:

Where a movie has so many unique and good things, then definitely it has some mistakes and bad things also. Ludo movie also has some mistakes and inappropriate things which doesn’t make it a family movie. The beginning of this film has a bit of sexual content and a bit of violence, but it’s not too much. Also, in between the movie, there’s some sound effect disturbance and pictures are not clear in some scenes. However, it’s a minor mistakes which doesn’t affect the rank of the movie.

The overall rating of this movie on the internet is 7.6/10 IMDb, and around 70% of people loved this movie. This movie was released during the coronavirus pandemic situation in 2020, that’s why people loved it so much because they got it as a medicine. Because it contains a lot of humour, that creates so much laughter. Some people also found it unique because of its different 5 stories which emerged from the tragedy. 

If you want to watch this movie, then you can watch it on Netflix. If you love dark comedy (that isn’t understood by everyone) then, it’s a highly recommendation for you. You will surely not get bored through watching this.

In summary,” Ludo” the movie is very different and unique because it combines black comedy, twists, thrills and actions. All the characters in the film are also very famous and they played extremely well which makes it a recommendable movie.  This movie also gives us a lesson that our actions will decide the end of our lives, so we should do things thoughtfully.
