"The Queen Gambit” - Chess, Addiction, and Female Empowerment”

if you still have not heard of Queen" 's Gambit then you are living in the rope because it has taken social media by a blast and it is still one of the most popular shows after so many of its launches, if you are a girl who is in chess sport or game like then this show is for you. The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix has also become the most popular miniseries due to its cinematography, Storyline, and bold characters.

Cast:
This story is taken from a novel by Walter Tevis in 1983. These miniseries were written by Scott Frank with Allen Scott. Apart from that, this is an American chess prodigy centered on an 8-year-old girl, named Elizabeth Harmon who lost her mother in a car accident. After four weeks of release, it had become the most-watched scripted miniseries on Netflix's top program in 69 countries.

Storyline:
The storyline is strong due to the character Beth, who was struggling with drug dependency and emotional problems. And this dependency is the cause of becoming the best chess player in the world. At first, she was given tranquilizers in an orphanage to balance her disposition, but with the passage of time, she started to overdose, which became the reason for her success meanwhile destroying her.

She was passionate about her love for chess. It inspired me how many obstacles have come to our destination, like she had no money but her dedication to chess compelled Mr.Shaibel to help her. He gave her 5$ to play for the tournament in Kentucky. This is the support every person needs in real life.

Remember, If we have strong willpower, then there is nothing above you and your strong will. I was astonished to see how a small girl became the world’s international chess player. The people who bullied her in Apple Pi Club for her intelligence became his friends like Harry Beltile and D.N Towns.

Cinematography:
If we talk about the cinematography of this series, the visuals are attention-grabbing taken by Steven Meizler.  Mysterious visuals made me curious about what would happen in the next scene. She is a story in her inner self. Steven reflects cinematography realistically.

Lightening:
The colors and lightning were on point. At the start of the series, there was a lack of lightning which gives the impression of mystery and foreboding. The costumes of the characters made the lead actress, Beth, unique. Secondly, when episode 2 started, there was a low-angle shot that started enhancing on high angle shots and different camera angles, which gave the impression of dominance, it was quite impressive.

Body language:
The anger and irritation of Beth when Harry does not take her seriously, due to gender difference. How can we forget about the body language of the slumping on the shoulder and giving her head in her hand when understanding the strategy while fearing defeat? Indeed, This is a beautiful blend of cinematography.

Good and Bad parts:
The part which is far more interesting for me which I like about her spatial intelligence and mind-altering medicines, which is beyond my curiosity, l could not resist myself to say WOW. The part makes me feel bad about the protagonist's ego for her skill, which creates disgust and awkwardness. A sad part of this series was when he lost against Benny Watts.

Conclusion:
To conclude, based on The Queen’s Gambit review, Beth Harmon is a must-watch for the fans of chess, the Coming age of stories, and inspiration to us all. Beth Harmon is a complex and flawed character but still, she is brilliant, resilient, and determined.
